Innovation Mode of Application-oriented Undergraduate Education Management in the Era of Big Data

ABSTRACT

An open framework is the strategic fulcrum of higher education management in the era of big data. We need to strengthen international exchanges, broaden educational platforms, introduce high-quality educational resources and absorb valuable educational experience to update the concept of education management with an integrated attitude. With the development of big data era and informatization, big data plays an important role in the process of improving and innovating teaching methods and management modes in colleges. This paper first expounds the basic concept and characteristics of big data, then analyzes the opportunities and challenges of higher education management in the era of big data, and finally proposes the innovative measures for higher education management in the era of big data, namely, establishing the awareness of big data in higher management education. We should constantly perfect the information platform construction of higher education management data, improve the data-oriented ability and level of teachers in colleges and universities, and strengthen the research and acquisition of higher education management data. This paper analyzes the challenges brought by the era of big data to the higher education management, and proposes countermeasures from the three aspects which are big data awareness establishing, education management information platform building and team formation.
